The Disney Experiences Still on My Bucket List

One of the best things about being a Disney fan is that there is always something new to look forward to.

No matter how many trips you've taken, how many attractions you've ridden, or how many Disney vacations you've planned, there always seems to be another destination, experience, resort, or special event waiting to be discovered.

I've been fortunate enough to visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland, but there are still plenty of Disney experiences sitting firmly on my bucket list.

Here are some of the Disney adventures I'm still dreaming about.

1. Tokyo DisneySea

If there is one destination at the very top of my Disney bucket list, it's Tokyo DisneySea.

Ask almost any Disney fan who has visited, and they'll tell you the same thing: it's unlike any other Disney park in the world.

The theming looks incredible. From Mediterranean Harbor to Mysterious Island and the Arabian Coast, every area seems packed with details that make you feel completely immersed in the story.

What really fascinates me is how different the attraction lineup is compared to North American parks.

Experiences I'd love to try include:

  • Journey to the Center of the Earth

  • Tower of Terror (Tokyo version)

  • Sinbad's Storybook Voyage

  • 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

  • Fantasy Springs

And honestly, I could spend an entire day just walking around taking photos.

2. Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has always looked beautiful in photos, but everyone who visits seems to say the same thing:

The castle is even more impressive in person.

Sleeping Beauty Castle in Paris is often considered one of the most beautiful Disney castles ever built, and it's easy to see why. The design is stunning, the landscaping is gorgeous, and there's even a dragon hidden underneath.

A few things I'd love to experience:

  • Exploring Sleeping Beauty Castle

  • Seeing the dragon beneath the castle

  • Phantom Manor

  • Big Thunder Mountain

  • Disney Village

  • The nighttime spectaculars

The architecture throughout the park looks absolutely incredible.

3. Disney Cruise Destinations

I've become increasingly interested in Disney Cruise Line over the years.

One of the things I love most about Disney cruises is that they combine relaxation with Disney entertainment. You get the Disney magic without spending all day walking between attractions.

Some cruise destinations I'd love to visit include:

Alaska

The scenery alone looks breathtaking.

Imagine seeing glaciers during the day and then returning to a Disney ship for dinner and entertainment at night.

The Mediterranean

Combining Disney with destinations like Italy, Greece, and Spain sounds amazing.

Northern Europe

Visiting destinations such as Norway while sailing with Disney would be an unforgettable experience.

Lighthouse Point

Disney's newest island destination has quickly moved onto my must-see list.

4. Staying at More Disney Resorts

For many Disney fans, the resort is just as much a part of the vacation as the parks themselves.

There are still several resorts I'd love to experience someday.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

The atmosphere looks incredible.

Being able to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the resort while relaxing by the water sounds like the perfect Disney evening.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Waking up and seeing giraffes and zebras outside your balcony is one of the most unique resort experiences Disney offers.

Disneyland Hotel

Now that Disneyland's iconic hotel has been reimagined, I'd love the opportunity to stay there and experience the Disney touches throughout the property.

A Disney Cruise Concierge Stateroom

Definitely a bucket-list experience.

Would I book it every trip? Probably not.

Would I love to experience it once? Absolutely.

5. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Halloween at Disney has always looked like one of the most fun seasonal events Disney offers.

The exclusive entertainment alone makes it tempting:

  • Halloween parade

  • Special fireworks

  • Character costumes

  • Seasonal snacks

  • Ride overlays

  • Trick-or-treat locations

As someone who enjoys both Disney and Halloween, this feels like a perfect combination.

6. EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

I've experienced EPCOT before, but Festival of the Holidays is still on my list.

The combination of:

  • Holiday decorations

  • Seasonal food booths

  • Storytellers from around the world

  • Holiday traditions

  • Candlelight Processional

looks like a unique way to experience EPCOT during the Christmas season.

7. Behind-the-Scenes Tours

I have always been fascinated by how Disney operates behind the scenes.

The creativity, logistics, technology, and storytelling involved in running Disney parks are incredible.

Some tours I'd love to experience include:

Keys to the Kingdom

One of Walt Disney World's most famous tours.

Learning more about park history and operations would be fascinating.

Wild Africa Trek

The opportunity to explore Animal Kingdom in a completely different way sounds amazing.

Behind the Seeds

This is one tour I hear people recommend over and over again.

A closer look at Living with the Land would be incredibly interesting.

8. Signature Dining Experiences

Food is a huge part of many Disney vacations.

While quick-service meals are great, there are several signature dining experiences I'd still love to try.

Victoria & Albert's

Often considered Disney's premier dining experience.

Definitely a special occasion meal.

California Grill at Fireworks Time

Dinner with a Magic Kingdom fireworks view sounds pretty hard to beat.

Monsieur Paul

A sophisticated EPCOT dining experience that's frequently praised by Disney food fans.

Palo Brunch

Disney Cruise Line guests rave about Palo brunch, and it remains high on my list.

The Fun Part About a Disney Bucket List

The best thing about a Disney bucket list is that it keeps growing.

Every year Disney introduces new attractions, new cruise destinations, new resorts, new entertainment, and new experiences that make us start planning the next trip before we've even finished the current one.

For now, Tokyo DisneySea sits firmly at the top of my list, but ask me again next month and I might have added three more experiences.

What's Still On Your Disney Bucket List?

I'd love to know.

Is it a destination?

A resort?

A cruise?
